Raycom Media Purchases Dolgin Engineering Battery Chargers
Lexington, MA - Dolgin Engineering today announced that
Raycom Media has taken delivery of more than 130 TC400-JVC-650, four position
battery chargers. These chargers have been specifically designed to work with
JVC GY-HM650 style batteries in recently introduced GY-HM650 cameras designed
for mobile news and reality documentary production.
Dolgin battery chargers provide fast, simultaneous four position charging
with built in diagnostics, differentiating them from other chargers
available. Their industrial construction allows for reliable, continuous
use.
“We’re delighted that Raycom Media chose our products while expanding and
replacing their existing fleet of ENG cameras” said Alex Dolgin, President of
Dolgin Engineering. “We look forward to working with Raycom closely to
support their current and future need to provide mobile power for news
gathering equipment.”
In addition to the battery charger system, Dolgin Engineering also worked
with Raycom to integrate newly developed SWIT
batteries and on-camera LED lights to provide a very light weight and
functional mobile power and lighting solution. Because of its high capacity
and an auxiliary DC power outlet, the just released S-8I50 battery is capable
of powering both the camera and the on-camera light for several hours of
uninterrupted field use.
This highly functional light weight LED light/battery/charger field system
delivered by Dolgin Engineering allows a camera operator to focus on fast changing
news events rather than worrying about power needs.
