Power Mate

Power Mate is a 12V battery holder/bracket which attaches conveniently to the Canon MA-100 Microphone Adapter/Shoulder Pad. A step-down voltage converter is integrated in the bracket. The LED voltage indicator keeps the camera person informed of the battery status.

Step down voltage converter specifications

The DC/DC converter is a very efficient pulse width modulated power supply, which provides for much longer run times than inexpensive linear regulators. It runs cool, as most of the battery charge is delivered to the camera, not dissipated as heat.
